Calling Zoosk with a customer service problem is impossible because the company doesn't actually have a customer service line. In fact, they don't really offer any type of live customer service whether you attempt to contact them through the app or via the internet. Looking around, I found this number so I was hopeful, but the line doesn't work. I called this number four times at different times of the day, and no one ever answered the phone. If someone is there, they don't seem to pick up for customers most of the time.
After failing to get someone on the phone, I spent some time looking around for other ways to get customer support. There are dozens of reasons why people might want to contact Zoosk customer support, so they really should have a different system in place. For instance, some people might have account or subscription issues and need to talk to someone from the billing department. Others may just have questions that they want answered before they feel comfortable joining a dating site that requires credit card information. I could certainly relate to that uncertainty which is not helped by their lack of support.
Other people might have pressing concerns and need to report the behavior of someone who's acting unprofessionally or inappropriately on the platform. In this case, there seems to be a need for more than just a help form that you can fill out and then wait for a response. However, that seems to be the only way that you can contact Zoosk, which is pretty unsettling to me as a customer. I originally wanted to talk to someone about the app, because sometimes it doesn't seem like it is performing correctly for me. However, now that I've had so many issues getting ahold of customer service I want to cancel and move to a more reliable platform.
When I went on the website, they had a lot of help articles, but nothing that specifically addressed my issue. You have to click through a few articles first though before the option to contact them comes up. It turns out, that option is just a support email address, and it doesn't tell you how long it will take to get a response.
