You are charged only for the days you use the service. If you wish not to use PlatePass, you may pay your tolls in cash (if this option is available) or use your personal toll device. If you take no action, Hertz will receive the unpaid toll notifications, pay the tolls, and charge you the standard administrative fee per toll.

After returning your hire, the deposit refund process typically takes up to 14 days. However, specific time frames may depend on several factors including bank processing times and individual circumstances. Do keep in mind that during peak periods, this process can take longer. It's recommended to check with your bank about their processing times if more than 14 days have passed and you still haven't received your refund.
