If an address pin on Google Maps is incorrect, you, as a user, can report it. Open the Google Maps app, tap on the incorrect pin, then select the "Report a problem" option. However, if you've reported the problem and it hasn't corrected for a few weeks, it may be due to Google needing to verify the information or address issues of privacy or safety. If your residence address is not available on Google Maps, you can add it through the Map Maker feature. Once you've submitted your addition, it gets reviewed by the Google Maps community. If approved, your home will become searchable on Google Maps. Please note that for privacy and safety, specific apartment numbers or suite numbers should not be added to Google Maps.

To view historic images from Google Earth's street view, firstly launch Google Maps and enter the location you want to view. Then, drag the yellow "Pegman" at the bottom right of the screen onto the location on the map. This opens a street view of the location. On the top left of the screen, you'll see a clock icon with a downward-facing arrow. Click this icon to open a slider which has multiple dots, each representing a different street view image from various dates. Move the slider to select the image from the date you want to view.
