Hello* We are owners of a property in ocean city nj. We haven't been getting as many rentals this year and are picking up a few issues causing this. *. For some reason, our rental is made inactive on homeaway. This happened twice. Once may have been due to a credit card. Updates were made and it happened again. *. Not only was the account made inactive but when it came back up the rental prices reverted back to earlier, much lower pricing. People requested the rental but the price was wrong. This happened twice. *. Our listing ranking mark is poor so we probably don't get as many hits as we should. We try to respond within the ** hrs. * Once it was missed because we had to get in there and Reedit the prices. Other times, the same request from the same person comes twice. Of course we only respond to one of the inquiries. Since one doesn't get a response it goes against us for not responding. Finally we received a spam*fraud request saying they were in Turkey and would send a bankers check. Of course we didn't respond. But again probably get charged for over ** hrs.
