I started an application for a new passport online, after I’d paid for it i rung HMRC to ask about still using my ‘old’ passport as it has * years still on it but it just has my previous name on, I got told it’s fine and when I asked if I could get refunded on my online application as it isn’t a full application and no documents were sent off I got told “I’d advise you to send over an email” which is why I’m getting in touch
