I received an email notification of the error a week later, and I wish there was a way to contact a human for assistance. I am confident that I have corrected all the necessary information, but the transfer date is now set for the 9th. I have already paid the fee for this transfer. Currently, I am struggling financially and eagerly awaiting the funds. Please expedite the transfer process as I am in urgent need of this money. Unfortunately, I am unsure how to proceed or how to reach a representative for help. I appreciate your understanding of the situation and hope to resolve this matter promptly.

I am reporting an advertisement featuring a photo of my deceased father-in-law, which is false and misleading. The ad claims to be for funeral expenses, but there is no funeral being held as he has already been cremated and the arrangements have been settled. The funds mentioned are actually for personal finances, not funeral costs. The ad needs to be either removed or rephrased to accurately reflect its purpose as it is disrespectful to have his image used this way. The post is causing confusion and distress. I urge for its immediate removal or revision. Thank you.

I need assistance linking my bank account. I am the owner of a [redacted](c)3 nonprofit foundation, and GoFundMe created a new fundraiser without my permission. It has been more than a month, and GoFundMe has not responded to help me link my bank account. On my profile, I see four fundraisers, but only one is valid. Two have been deleted previously. The latest fundraiser is out of my control, and I am unable to manage it. My main goal is to link my nonprofit's bank account to the active fundraiser generating funds and garnering attention. Can someone please help me understand the issue causing this disconnect and assist me in resolving it?

I have been grateful to receive assistance through a GoFundMe account to purchase a Handicapped Accessible Vehicle and Electric Wheelchair for my husband to transport me to medical appointments. Unfortunately, the account holds $[redacted].00, and the person managing it is inexperienced with GoFundMe and unsure how to transfer the funds to my Credit Union account. I wish she had consulted me before starting the account and halting it due to this issue. Now, I am unsure of the next steps to access the donations. I received an email from GFM stating that I am eligible for substantial compensation from certain companies. However, I couldn't open the attached computer file with the details. I am frustrated and hope someone can help me decipher the emails. I am concerned about the time-sensitive nature of accessing these payments and want to ensure they are legitimate before potential theft occurs. The mention of substantial compensation worries me that others might try to claim it before I can. I am disappointed if GFM turns out to be a scam as I was hopeful for this money. I attempted to initiate a bank transfer twice within the past two weeks. Despite receiving a notification that it was successfully linked, I subsequently received an email indicating it was declined. I have verified that the name, routing and account numbers are correct, and I have even attached a bank statement for reference. It is crucial for me to resolve this issue promptly to prevent any potential donations from being returned. I am perplexed as to why it continuously confirms successful linkage and then requests additional information. Upon review, I do not believe any vital information is missing.

Hello, I wanted to address an issue with the Go Fund Me campaign named "Help Preserve Sealevel Hot Yoga". This fundraiser is managed by Kate Jarvis, and she recently designated me as the beneficiary. I am Kathy Allen, the proprietor of Sealevel Hot Yoga. Kate and I have sought to transfer the funds. However, when I checked last evening, I noticed a message at the top of the page stating that more information is required before transferring the substantial amount of funds collected. Unfortunately, there was no indication of how to provide the necessary details. Although the funds are slated for transfer on October 11th, the ambiguous instructions led me to seek assistance in the help center. Regrettably, I could not find a clear procedure to address the questions Go Fund Me may have. I may have mistakenly selected the "change beneficiary" option and faced challenges while attempting to rectify the error. Presently, I encounter a message stating that the campaign cannot be located when trying to log in. I created a GoFundMe account with all the required information, including my email address, phone number, address, username, password, and banking details. After receiving donations and making transfers to my bank, GoFundMe suddenly changed my email and asked for the same information again as more funds became available. I am struggling to meet their requests because they want me to use an email address I rarely check. I suspect my account might have been compromised. I urgently need access to the donated funds but cannot provide the new information GoFundMe is asking for. I initially shared my account and routing numbers through one email, and now they are asking for them through an email I rarely use. I am unsure about the ID they require, as I no longer have a physical Social Security card. I can provide my Florida driver's license and a [redacted], but formatting them correctly is a challenge. I am unable to screenshot my bank details due to security reasons, and I manage my banking online. My vehicle tags have expired, and I cannot afford transportation like Uber or taxi services. I feel like I am being scammed or hacked. Resetting my password is unsuccessful as I am not receiving the emails. I have two other email accounts, but I am unsure of the best course of action.

My niece started a GoFundMe for me and my disabled son during the challenges we faced from Hurricane Ida in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our story was featured in the Times Picayune Newspaper and the ProRepublica Online Newspaper. Following the news coverage, our GoFundMe reached $8,[redacted]. Initially, my niece and her mother were listed as beneficiaries and were supposed to transfer the funds to me or my son. However, as we lacked a bank account, my niece decided to keep some of the funds to open an account for herself, refusing to give us anything. This has left me and my son struggling. I am currently attempting to transfer the funds from my GoFundMe account, but I have forgotten my password. I am in the process of resetting the password by following the steps provided. However, after setting a new password, the system notifies me that either my email or password is incorrect. I am feeling frustrated by this issue, especially as there is no option to speak with a customer service representative. Once this matter is resolved, I am hesitant to use GoFundMe in the future.

I created a GoFundMe page tonight and mistakenly added a picture to the cover that I didn't intend to. I managed to edit the image, but it's not displaying correctly on the main page. Additionally, my recent donation of $20.00 made last night following a $25.00 donation is not showing up. My donors are having similar experiences, and there are concerns about the legitimacy of my cause, given the prevalence of scams. I tried to report this issue through the app on 12/21/22, but I have yet to receive a response from Gofundme. Checking the deposit account reveals no deposit from GoFundMe. By 6 p.m. today, people will be waiting for funds, expecting to purchase long johns per our organization's guidance, which was based on the promised December 26th availability. The absence of customer service contact information and the non-existent live chat further compound the frustration. Real-time assistance is crucial, especially with financial matters. Despite your email confirmation of the deposit and the listed schedule of 12/23/[redacted], no funds have arrived as indicated. This discrepancy disappoints me, my team, and the company I represent, which leads charitable initiatives in Chicago and relies on Venmo for tipping drivers. Sadly, I now have to apologize to those expecting funds for their long johns due to GoFundMe's delay. I am highly disappointed with the inadequate customer service support.

On September 9, [redacted], I was assaulted in a random attack that almost took my life. After surgeries and a hospital stay, I set up a GoFundMe page to help with expenses. However, my checking account was closed due to overdraft fees, and my savings account was also closed. I went to the bank to open new accounts, but it will take 7 to 10 days to receive the account numbers in the mail. The issue is that on February 3, the donations will start being returned, and I won't have the new account numbers in time. The bank doesn't provide the information immediately upon account opening, so I'm unable to update the details on GoFundMe. Can the deadline for returning the donations be extended from February 3 to a later date, like March?
