I am experiencing issues with my Garmin Approach S2 watch (serial # 30Y315834) on my Mac running 10.13.6. Despite updating Garmin Express and the Garmin Communicator Plugin to version 2.60, my computer still does not recognize the device. Instead, it displays messages like "S2 is not connected" or "not found," along with a "no courses near you" notification. Even after cleaning the contacts, the problem persists. It is worth mentioning that I recently updated my G3 successfully on the same computer. I have enjoyed using my S2 and would like to continue doing so. I vaguely recall receiving a replacement connector cable from Garmin in the past. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you, Jim B.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out regarding an issue with my Fenix 5S Plus watch. To summarize: - Received the watch as a gift in December [redacted] - In December [redacted], the select button malfunctioned - Took the watch to a local Garmin service center for repair - Upon receiving the watch in January, issues persisted during travel - Returned the watch to the service center after my trip - Service center claimed the watch was unfixable and had poor battery life, suggesting a new purchase - Problems worsened post-service visit, rendering the watch unusable Incident Date: 12/03/[redacted] Given that this watch was a thoughtful gift from my father, I am disappointed with Garmin's service and their recommendation to buy a new watch. I seek guidance on whether a refund or replacement is warranted under these circumstances. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and I request all correspondence to be directed to this email address for documentation purposes. Sincerely, C. Verdeyen

I purchased a Garmin Edge [redacted] back on May 9, [redacted]. It has been performing well until recently. On May 30, after a training session, I encountered a sudden issue where the device turned off when I tried to save my data. Despite taking good care of it and finding no physical damage, the device lost all the saved data when connected to my computer. The following day, it failed to record any data during my ride. After reaching out to Garmin Support, I attempted their troubleshooting steps, but the only option left was to send it in for repair at a cost of $[redacted]. This recurring issue is frustrating, especially since I recommended Garmin to my loved ones. Both my Edge [redacted] and previous Edge [redacted] faced similar problems in a relatively short period, urging me to seek a resolution such as complimentary repairs, a replacement, or a discount on a new device.

I placed an order for a Garmin Tactix Delta watch on August 4 in the early morning through GovX. On August 5, I received shipment details for FedEx with tracking number [redacted]63, indicating that the label was created that day. It has been in this status for the past two days, with the expected delivery date set for tomorrow, Saturday the 8th. I am concerned that it has not progressed beyond the label creation stage, especially with my upcoming trip related to my active duty in the Army with the COVID Task Force. I am hoping to receive the watch by tomorrow. Tracking the package's progress would be greatly appreciated as I rely on the watch to monitor a lot of important information. Thank you for your assistance. CPT R. Blackwell

I am experiencing several issues with my new echoMap UHD 93sv. The AC web maps display different content compared to the AC App on my iPad OS, and the Navionics hazard callout is missing. Neither the AC app nor the EchoMap displays hazard buoys, even though they are clearly visible on Garmin AC maps online and Navionics maps. The navigation maps do not apply custom depth shading unless community contours are enabled—rendering the feature useless. The AC Community does not sync with the device or the app properly, even after attempting manual downloads or enabling automatic updates. Known data, like a big rock just below the surface, is missing from my device and various maps, including Navionics. I am unsure if this data should come through the AC Community or not. I have attached screenshots for reference, as there is no option to submit them on this customer support platform. -Scott

My vivoactive HR watch suddenly stopped working after 3 years of wear, including while swimming. The GPS and heart rate features were functioning well until it shut off one day and wouldn't turn back on. I suspect water damage as it stopped working right after swimming. I've seen others online experiencing similar issues and mentioning replacements or fixes. I'm wondering if this problem is covered by warranty or if it can be repaired in my case. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me about the next steps to address this situation. Thank you.

I purchased a Garmin Inreach Mini today and completed all the necessary information on the website. After that, I downloaded and installed the Earthmate app on my iPhone. To test it out, I successfully sent a message from the Inreach Mini to my phone. However, when I tried to send a message to my son who also has an Inreach Mini during his fishing trip, I received a notice that it's not activated. I need help with this issue. Please contact me urgently on my cell at [redacted]. Thank you.

Issue: My Zumo [redacted] is not recognized for a map update. After connecting the Zumo, the connection is displayed on the device (Zumo + PC). The PC also makes a sound indicating successful connection. However, when I start Garmin Express, a screen pops up with the heading: New device found. Clicking on this does a search but without success. There is no connection established even after multiple attempts. Where could the problem be?

Dear Garmin representative, I am Oren Blitzblau, a dedicated para-triathlete who has been cycling on a tandem bicycle for 15 years due to being visually impaired. Triathlon is a significant part of my life, and I take it seriously. I hold a personal record in the blind category of the full distance iron man set in August [redacted]. I have been using Garmin products for a while and am generally satisfied. However, I face challenges with my Garmin Edge [redacted] while using a power meter on my tandem bike. The device can only display data from either the front or rear cyclist, not both simultaneously. This limitation forces us to use two Garmin devices for training and races. I am inquiring if Garmin has any solutions that would allow for aggregating data from two power meters on one device. I hope Garmin will continue to innovate in cycling technology for all users, including those with disabilities. Contact Information: Oren Blitzblau Phone: +[redacted]-52-[redacted]

I am facing a frustrating situation with my old Garmin GPS 42. A customer service representative contacted me regarding my map update issue and offered to fix it remotely. However, during the process, she insisted I purchase Microsoft security for $[redacted] to continue. Despite explaining my financial constraints, she proceeded and later, after disconnecting, I realized my computer's internet was disabled. I suspect something essential was removed. Her name was Kim Anderson, but I lack her extension number. I have a technician coming to inspect my computer today. Can any assistance be provided in this matter? I rely on my computer for work as I work with a delivery service. Is it possible to receive another GPS device for my car?

Hello Garmin Support, I am having trouble with my 1st generation sensor. When I connect it to my Edge watch, it does not measure my pedal cadence, showing only dashes instead. I have updated both the watch and the Edge after the issue occurred and replaced the sensor battery, but the problem persists. I have disconnected and reconnected the sensor multiple times to no avail. Despite resetting the Edge and pairing it with the sensor again, the issue remains after the software updates. Pressing the sensor button initially shows red then green lights, which turn green when pedaling. The sensor is a Garmin 1st generation, the Edge model is [redacted], and the watch is a fenix 6s pro. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you, Dominique

Hello. I own a vivoactive 3 watch, and for the last few months, it has been quite temperamental, not functioning to its usual standard. I've noticed it frequently displays the blue triangle symbol. At times, it shows an incorrect time, and it starts tracking workouts automatically, even when I'm not active, like when I'm sitting down or sleeping. Despite updating and resetting the watch, the problems persist. The watch is likely still under 12 months old and should be more reliable. Interestingly, my girlfriend's rose gold vivoactive 3 works perfectly. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues. Thank you. -Rannon

Hello, I encountered an issue logging into my Garmin account. Despite attempting all my known emails, I was unsuccessful. Initially assuming a forgotten password, I tried to reset it, but to no avail as I did not receive the reset email. I suspect I may have made a typo ([redacted]) in my email when registering, given the absence of any account confirmation email in my inbox. I am seeking assistance in regaining access to my account or changing my email. My username is Kayleigh Milligan, and my password is Norton72. I recently created a new account under the same email, which I promptly deleted in anticipation of recovering the original account. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated before resorting to establishing a new account.

I bought a Garmin VivoActive 3 Music from Amazon on June 12, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the mount casing for the watch band has cracked and broken on both sides of the buckle strap in just two months. While the watch itself works perfectly, it is now impossible to wear it correctly on the wrist. Since Garmin has become our household's preferred brand for activity tracking, with two watch activity bands and a scale already in use, I am interested in returning the watch to Garmin for repair or replacement. Additionally, we are also thinking about buying two more activity bands for the children in the house.

I recently purchased a Garmin Approach S40 PREMIUM from an online golf retailer. The product was advertised for roughly £25 more than standard S40 models online. When I received the item, the invoice indicated that it was a Premium version, but the GARMIN box did not have the word PREMIUM on it. I see no visible differences compared to the standard S40 models my friends have. After inquiring with the retailer, they mentioned that the watch has special paint but is otherwise the same as the standard versions. I have learned that the PREMIUM version should have a ceramic non-scratch bezel and leather strap, which my watch lacks. I am seeking clarification from GARMIN regarding the intended differences between the standard and PREMIUM versions of the S40. Thank you.

My Garmin Forerunner [redacted] is acting up. Recently, the battery drained in just one day even though it wasn't in use, yet other times it's been okay. During a long run yesterday, the GPS jumped ahead by 2.6 miles. I'm consistently experiencing Bluetooth connection problems with my phone, specifically with this device, as my other devices are connecting fine. Additionally, my profile on the watch keeps getting wiped, forcing me to remove, repair, and resync the device to get it functioning properly again. It's causing me a lot of frustration dealing with these issues.

I would like to provide feedback on some features of your product. For instance, when setting a destination on Garmin, I suggest displaying only the relevant exits rather than all exits. It would also be helpful to request information on the nearest freeway after a stop and to search for intersections without knowing the city name. Recently, when searching for a Vons store, Garmin directed me to former locations, causing frustration. In the past, I was misdirected to a residential area when looking for an auto parts store. These incidents have been irritating. I have more suggestions and complaints if you are open to hearing them. Additionally, an all-inclusive and easily accessible menu would be beneficial, as I have struggled to change my "Home" address for several months.

I have a 20-year-old Garmin RV GPS device that I wanted to update the maps on. I was informed by a technician that my Mac's OS needed updating to Catalina before loading the GPS updates. The technician offered to do the update for a fee ranging from $[redacted] for 1 year up to $[redacted] for a lifetime upgrade. After attempting the update, it was discovered that the Garmin GPS could not be updated due to its age. I am concerned if it is standard practice to be charged for an OS update without successfully updating the Garmin maps. The technician requested payment via PayPal or a direct bank transfer and had access to my computer during the process. I would appreciate any advice regarding this situation.

The watch functions well overall. It was a gift from my wife for my birthday/anniversary, and the golf GPS feature meets expectations. However, at $[redacted], I believe it should include a heart rate monitor. While I can receive texts and emails, not being able to respond is frustrating. My wife's $[redacted] Apple watch allows her to respond to messages, calls, and emails. I find it disheartening that my $[redacted] watch lacks features present in my daughter's $20 smart watch. The cheaper watch even has a golf app, albeit not as advanced as the Garmin Golf GPS. For the price I paid for the S60 Approach, I expected more. I'm unsure about my next step. The watch works fine, but I desire the ability to answer calls and compose messages. I'm open to options like an upgrade or a refund if necessary. I believe for the cost of the S60, I should have more functionality. I trust we can find a resolution. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Justin M.
