I tried to change my mobile contract recently. I have been with ** for over ** years but was unhappy with their service so decided to terminate my contract with them and move elsewhere. I decided on EE as they are now a subsidiary of BT who I have been with for a number of years for my landline * internet * television. I got a pac number from ** and went to the EE shop and filled in all necessary forms. Was all ready to pay the deposit when EE declined my application. In all the years I have been with ** and BT I have never missed a monthly payment. ( £**:** to ** * £**:** to BT ). I phoned EE and asked why I had been declined and they said they have no input on credit but gave me an e-mail of the company they rely on. I contacted *****@***.com. The reply they sent was very unhelpful as they could not supply any details as to why my application had been denied. They said best I could do was contact equifax and ask for a reason. No one seems to take resposibility. All I want to know is why, when I have got over ** years of service with **, and why EE, even though they are a part of the BT group think that I am not trustworthy to allow a mobile phone contract.*I would be very grateful for any help on this matter*William Drysdale
