The issue in GetHuman-ashequep's own words
I done a phone order online with EE, after processing I was told to contact EE so I did , the sales rep was nice and told me that I passed credit check bit it wasn't that good so I would have to pay £*** deposit and a trade in , I didn't have enough money at that time so I requested a call back in a week, however I got phone calls from EE the next day onwards I kept missing them so I called and by now I had enough money to pay the deposit, the sales rep advised me that my initial order could not be done because my trade in phone was not on the list of trade in's so he done another order for the same phone but this time without a trade in and advised me I had to pay £*** all in so I did, I got email saying order is dispatched then hours later I got a message to say it was cancelled, I was also on the phone to another sales rep to get broadband set up in my flat, I called EE to ask why? They said it was a fraud issue, which is laughable because I agreed to show them my ID to the delivery driver, anyway I said just give me my money back , then later I got another missed call from EE and I calle back the sales rep said oh it was because you failed a credit check! I'm scratching my head by now, THE REASON I GOT TO THE STAGE I WAS AT WAS BECAUSE I INITIALLY WENT TUROUGH CREDIT CHECK! now they are just saying anything and am out of £*** which I could have used as deposit or upfront cost elsewhere. I'm just so angry and stressed out about the whole situation I feel like I have been robbed
