Dear Sir*Madam**Re Account *** **** ********** George Krefting* ***** W Peoria Ave* Sun City AZ ***** -******I am writing to you in hopes that you can either deal with the predicament we find ourselves in or advise as to whom might be able to deal with us. I have spent approximately * hours with telephone representatives with no resolve to this matter.**We have been customers of Cox Communications for approximately * years. We are seasonal (six month) residents and reside at ***** Sun City AZ *******Each year we put our service on vacation mode about May *, paid the specified monthly fee and then recommenced service on November *.**This year I called on or about April **th and requested to go onto vacation mode and received an e-mail on April **th confirming seasonal return date of November * **We then continued to receive and were charged the full monthly fee of $***.** in May and June.**I called COX and after about and hour on the phone was advised that COX was unable to put the service on vacation mode and the service would have to be discontinued.**On July **nd we received yet another bill for $*** .** which following yet another lengthy phone call were advised was a charge for the modum as we had not returned same following the service discontinuation.**In the meantime we are now receiving computer generated e-mails inviting us to once again become a customer, with a much lower monthly fee and a $** prepaid charge card.*In summary we have been charged a total of $***.** and based on prior years charges we were expecting to pay about $**.****Amount we expected to pay***Amount we have been charged*******May*seasonal* **.** ****-May****.**June*seasonal* **.** ****-Jun****.**July*seasonal* **.** ****-Jun***.*********-Jul****.***total** **.** ******.*****Of course based on our experience, you can well imagine our reluctance to return as a customer based on the run around we have experienced over the past few months.*The preferred resolution to this matter is that we be credited for the charges we have incurred from May thru July and have the account reinstated. I would be happy to pay the seasonal fees we were expecting to be charged.*I do look forward your response.
