I require assistance. I have made numerous attempts to log in to my account but I am currently locked out. Name: Joseph J. Heinlein, Jr. Savings Account # [redacted] I face challenges due to my disability (vision loss in one eye) and my wife's severe disabilities (legally blind, both hips broken, multiple spinal fractures, 92 years old). I am a retired military member working for the Army as a contractor until 2 years ago. I currently reside in Germany with a military APO address. I have contacted CAPITALONE MILITARY BENEFITS, including Lisa in TAMPA for help, but haven't been successful. Capital One's requirements are difficult for me to fulfill given my circumstances. Subject: Issue with GFL Account Charges I would like to inform you that I have closed my account with GFL, as they have been charging my account for trash hauling services. I forgot to update my bill payment method until after February. The automatic bill payment failed that month, leading to a past due notice. Upon realizing the issue, I promptly made a payment. Initially, customer service was hesitant to acknowledge the error but later confirmed it was on their end. They assured me of a refund for the late fees and interest charges, which I have yet to receive. However, instead of assisting me in resolving the problem, my account was unexpectedly closed. I was informed that I would never be allowed to open another account in the future. I submitted a complaint to Capital One regarding fraudulent use of my card totaling over $[redacted]. Unfortunately, the complaint was denied with no option for appeal. I requested documentation of the findings for the police but was informed it would take 3 to 5 business days. It has been 2 weeks now, and I still haven't received the information. I need this documentation to proceed with filing a police report and seeking assistance from an attorney to recover my funds. It seems Capital One is basing their findings solely on computer data, but I did not authorize those transactions, which should be evident beyond computer records.

Hello, I am requesting my monthly transaction statement for my Capital One Credit Card for the year [redacted]. Thank you, G.C. Upon contacting CIBC, they mentioned they could not assist and advised me to reach out to Capital One again, which leads me to this message. I understand that Capital One has terminated its partnership with Costco Canada. Due to the Capital One app no longer functioning on my phone, I am unable to access my monthly transaction statements. This information is crucial for my taxes as I utilized my Costco Capital One credit card for business purposes. I am currently outside the USA and experiencing difficulty accessing my Capital One banking account. The system does not recognize my device, and I am unable to receive verification due to not having a US phone number. I have attempted to contact customer support via email, but have not received a response. When calling the support number, I was informed that a US phone number is required. I have been consistently making online payments through my device for nearly 3 years, primarily on a credit card. I am located in Ireland. Is there any other solution available to resolve this issue?

I am having trouble accessing my Capital One account as the confirmation code is being sent to an old phone number that I no longer use. I've had a Capital One credit card for about 15 or 17 years. In July, my purse was stolen, and I placed a hold on my card but didn't cancel it to keep automatic payments going. However, my bank removed the card from my account without my permission, causing issues with paying my bill. Despite multiple calls to get a new card, I was denied. They wanted to text my phone, which was in police evidence, for verification. After months of back-and-forth, making payments, and accruing fees, they closed my account without sending a new card. I've been sending payments since February but still haven't received a card or resolution. They now want me to reapply for a new account after all these years, which seems unfair given the circumstances. I'm frustrated with the lack of clarity and service from Capital One during this entire ordeal.

The issue I need to address with Capital One Credit Card is the ongoing problem of identity theft. For the past four years, individuals have been attempting to obtain credit cards in my name using my address. Despite receiving multiple letters from Capital One about these incidents, the problem persists. This has led to a continual decline in my credit score, currently at 39 out of [redacted]. Hello, today I was approved for a Walmart Rewards® Card and proceeded to set up my online access. Unfortunately, I forgot my username and password. After requesting my username via text, I attempted to change my password, but I encountered difficulties. When I tried to use the same verified number for a text verification, the system did not accept it. Despite receiving the text, I was unable to proceed with setting up my account. I thought verifying my identity online might help, but it resulted in my account becoming locked. I tried my best to follow the instructions in the welcome email to ensure everything was in order before my card arrives in about 7 days. I appreciate Capital One's efforts to protect my account and would be grateful for any assistance. I made a hotel reservation with my Venture card for a trip to visit my relative in Georgia. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly, and the reservation was non-refundable. I didn't have an issue with that condition, but I reached out to Venture for assistance. They advised me to contact the hotel directly. Marriott was understanding of my situation and agreed to either change the reservation or issue a refund without additional fees. I wasn't looking for a refund and was willing to cover any extra charges, but unfortunately, the third-party provider refused to accommodate the changes. I feel let down by this experience, and I've decided not to book through Venture for hotels in the future. It's not the card itself, but rather the third-party providers that have caused this inconvenience. I understand you may not be able to help, but I wanted to share my feedback with Venture.

Dear Capital One, I am writing to inform you that I am facing difficulty settling the balance on my bill. Despite having a limit of $[redacted], charges were allowed to exceed this limit. On January 7th, [redacted], I rented a car from Avis which was subsequently towed on the 8th. After a week, Avis retrieved the car from the tow yard. I promptly contacted Avis on the morning of the 8th to report the car missing, absolving me of liability. As the car is a rental, obtaining tow records is challenging due to not being the owner. I am willing to cover the charges for one day but refuse to pay more. Despite my desire to remain a loyal customer and settle my bill, I cannot pay beyond my limit. Regrettably, I was unable to report this earlier due to personal circumstances. I seek your assistance in addressing this matter. I made a $[redacted] payment on the 16th. Capital One withdrew the amount from my bank account on the same day. Typically, my available credit updates within 24 hours of making a payment, sometimes even instantly. However, this time my credit hasn't been updated yet, which also happened two weeks ago. I spoke with a representative who confirmed they received the payment but explained that my credit would not be updated until Monday morning, the 22nd. Despite showing proof of payment on my bank statement, I was informed there might be a delay for security reasons. This sudden delay upsets me as it contradicts their usual practice of updating credits promptly. I am frustrated that I won't be able to use my card until Monday, especially when their policy promises credit updates within 1-2 days. I need Capital One to be more consistent in updating my credit as I am with making payments.
