I contacted assurance wireless so that they'd send me a replacement phone because my other one stopped working. It arrived. Cool. But the issue is I've been unable to activate it going on days now, because * the phone number that came with the phone to activate it and the only one I can find online automatically sends me to T-Mobile and says my account isn't with them and that I am using a device with an inactive sim card. When I finally get a person to talk to, they can't help me and they send me to metro and metro tells me they can't help me and I need to speak to assurance but I can't get an assurance wireless person to help. So this phone is useless.. I am on the assistance program for a reason I can't pay to get a plan or phone anywhere.

I used a friend's phone to call the assurance wireless customer service from a different number and wasn't rerouted and was able to talk to someone who activated my phone.
